Simple Woman's Daybook
Outside my window.... It's still dark, however I do see raindrops on the window.
I am thinking..... about children who need sponsors through Compassion.
I am thankful for..... God's grace.
I am wearing..... gray sweatshirt and striped pajama bottoms.
I am hearing..... the quiet of a sleeping house.
I am going..... to be an oompa loompa for halloween. (I am succumbing to peer pressure!)
I am reading..... The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel.
I am hoping..... to get outdoor school pictures of the kids before they have to wear their winter coats!
I am creating..... various art projects for my students.
On my mind..... friends and family who are struggling with some tough issues.
From the learning rooms..... Russia: The Land of Endurance, discussing our fire safety plan, and the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic.
Noticing that..... the maple tree just outside the window is not nearly as beautiful in color as it was last year.
Remembering these words.... some years ago, after locating a half moon in the sky, my son asked me, "Who cut it?"
From the kitchen..... yogurt w/ grape nuts for breakfast, salami sandwiches for lunch and parmesan crusted chicken breasts with a potatos and squash for dinner.
Around the house..... I see a rock collection spread out for viewing and an assortment of books.
One of my favorite things.... heavy cream in hot coffee.
A few plans for the rest of the week..... AWANA Tuesday, Bible study Wednesday, shopping for halloween costumes for the kids and rest, lots and lots of rest.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you.....

I'm succumbing to husband pressure, I am going as an LSU fan!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
The picture is so pretty. My deck is covered with leaves. Maple trees are beautiful here. They have gone into their golden stage. I enjoyed your daybook. The picture of your boys is so cute. I hope you have a great week. Doylene
ReplyDelete:::thud::: I had completely forgotten about taking our annual outside school picture. I usually do it the FIRST day of school. YIKES! Thanks for the reminder!
