Simple Woman's Daybook
For today October 12, 2009
I am thinking..... about how my morning routine has been gradually changing.
I am thankful for..... God's provision and my growing compassion for others in need.
I am wearing..... my Redken "Inspire Change" t-shirt, gray fleece pullover and black athletic pants (no stiped pajama bottoms today!)
I am hearing..... my daughters little footsteps, way too early this morning.
I am going..... to take pictures of my daughters crib to list for sale. It's time for a big girl bed.
I am continuing to read..... The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian and the Power of a Positive Woman by Karol Ladd.
I am hoping..... to be sure of the things I do not see.
I am creating..... a colorful calendar for school.
On my mind..... forgiveness and how to accomplish it.
From the learning rooms..... continuing through our study on Russia, some computer based learning games, and the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic.
Noticing that..... the days are getting shorter.
Pondering these words.... "Joy is the echo of God's life within us." ~Joseph Marmion, (from The Power of a Positive Woman)
From the kitchen..... hmm, I think we'll have pb&j for lunch and then something with chicken breasts for dinner.
Around the house..... little odds and ends of a weekend spent at home and relaxing.
One of my favorite things.... geese flying in formation and all the noise they make.
A few plans for the rest of the week..... AWANA Tuesday, Bible study Wednesday, play date Thursday, stops at the library, grocery store and furniture store.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you.....

Love the quote...I am feeling the need to pull out my Power of a Positive Mom book again, it definitely can be repeated!
