Aloha Friday

An Island Life

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Kailani at An Island Life is embracing this custom with her weekly Aloha Friday posts, so I thought that today I would too.

I am an introvert and when life gets hectic and I need to recharge, I seek solitude. I need to be alone and away from people. I read, write in my journal or listen to music by myself. One of my favorite ways to recharge is to sit in a cozy chair with a cup of coffee and a good book.

What do you do to recharge when life gets hectic?

To participate, go to An Island Life and ask your question. Aloha!

  3. A night out with my friends. That usually puts me in a great mood and gets me back on track.

  4. Read, eat something I totally love & maybe soak in the tub w/ candles all around. Heaven. Or I might go get a pedicure & treat myself to lunch out.

  8. I like long, hot showers because it drowns out all the noise...if that's not an option, I get my thoughts out in a journal or have hot chocolate & biscotti while reading a favorite book.
